You don’t have to jet off to Ibiza or the Med to find a bit of Pizzazz factor on your holiday, in fact, what could be more chic than a winter break to one of Europe’s most popular ski resorts?
Combine the ever more popular winter sports of skiing and snowboarding with the inimitable slope style of the Europeans and top it all off with the great nightlife, bars and cuisine on offer and you have yourself a dream holiday.
What really interests us though is the opportunity to stay in a beautiful Chalet that looks like it has been lifted straight from a Christmas film. We found the Chalet Hotel Loden in the French resort of Meribel and it has everything you could hope for including a resident chef.
The Meribel resort is located on France’s eastern border with Italy and Switzerland a short journey away for those of you that like to explore when you are away. You can discover a bit more about the resort and surrounding areas by visiting – http://www.markwarner.co.uk/ski-holidays/france/meribel.
The Chalet itself offers its guests spectacular views of the mountains and slopes but don’t worry if you aren’t an experienced skier. With a number of excellent, English speaking ski instructors you will soon be sliding down those slopes before heading back to your chalet to relax in front of a warm log fire. Below are some images of the Chalet Hotel Loden to give you a better idea of what you can expect if you decide to make 2015 or 2016 the year that you opt for a stunning winter holiday. You won’t believe the value on some of the deals available too.
